Who I am

I am 29 years old, currently living in the Netherlands with my girlfriend, but originally from Denmark. My interest in music inspired my journey into audio design. I hold a master's degree in Digital Design with a focus on audio from Aarhus University. I have a passion for creativity that is fueled by an endless amount of curiosity. I am a goal oriented person that cares about my contribution to a project I'm working on, because I love what I do.

I would describe myself as curious, creative, honest, persistent, and open-minded. I enjoy discussing ideas, being creative, watching films, and listening to music. I also have a passion for video games, and have been fascinated with interactive virtual worlds ever since I was a child. I knew as a child that I wanted to make video games, so later in life I chose to infuse my interest in sound with my understanding of game design.

Field recording

I believe that the sounds of an environment reveal the hidden nature of a location—a world of voices that can only be experienced through active listening. No two places ever sound exactly the same, and I find that deeply fascinating.

My field recording adventures have taken me across the world, from the streets of Aarhus, my hometown in Denmark, to the forests of Holland, and even to the tropical islands of Thailand, such as Koh Chang. With every journey, I uncover new and unique soundscapes, and I plan to continue documenting the beautiful sonic diversity of our planet.

For me, the art of recording is both meditative and an exciting challenge. It rewards me with a personalized sound gallery, which I integrate into my creative projects.

You can find some examples of my field recording under my Free Downloads page here on my website, feel free to use these in your own creative projects if you wish to use some of my work.
